Expanding Pathways into the Science Policy Workforce – A Panel Discussion
Originally Aired on Apr 10, 2022.
Professional science policy opportunities have traditionally been filled by PhD-level students and established career-scientists. To provide more opportunities, the science-policy workforce must be expanded to include undergraduate students.
The Bankston Lab in the Sai Resident Collective (SRC) led a career panel and networking workshop for students who havenโt had access to previous policy experience and/or may not be eligible for other policy fellowships and other trainings. This event was organized in partnership with JSPG, NSPN, ESEP, SfN DCMA and Student Pugwash.
