A conversation, screening, and discussion

CSML ScreenTime hosts summer screenings of documentaries that explore the connections between science and society. Through curated screenings and conversations with filmmakers, creators, and producers, the program aims to explore the untold stories behind the stories.

About the program

Why ScreenTime?

CSML ScreenTime showcases documentaries whose goals are to engage the public with science.

ScreenTime creates a space to watch these stories together, then speak with the people behind them about craft choices, audience, impact, what their work reveals, and what they are learning from their work.

After the screening, we continue the conversation and open the floor to the audience for questions, reflections, and discussion with the creator or guest.
