Science on Stage: ‘An uncommon application of science communication’
Abigal Bender discusses the Science on Stage event that occurred at Stony Brook University in October of 2023. The project consisted of three playwrights partnered with three scientists at the university. Through active collaboration, each playwright created a short script following the research concept of the scientist they were partnered with. The scripts were then performed in a staged reading on the university campus, followed by a talkback with playwrights and scientists.
A poster featuring the work was presented at the 2024 Science Talk conference in Portland, Oregon.
