Launching new entrepreneurial initiatives in civic science is hard. There is a lot to figure out. Since 2018, we have worked with partners to leverage our solutions journalism to help nurture new entrepreneurial ideas in science communication, science outreach, informal science, citizen science, and related fields. The point is not simply to provide funding, but to offer wraparound support at the earliest stage of project design—when guidance, community, and practical help are often needed most.
