Stansberry Research

Stansberry Research is currently hiring an assistant researcher, writer, and curious person with ambition and drive that might empower the world. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for health, wellness, and teaching to join Dr. David Eifrig’s “Retirement Team.”

The ideal candidate loves reading, diving deep into topics, and is self-motivated. If you’ve worked multiple jobs all your life… enjoy pungent flowers as much as colorful ones… and love a tasty burger (even if it’s vegan) for dinner as much as a kale shake for breakfast… our team might be for you.  If you can’t sleep at night because a good book keeps you up way past your bedtime, we’re interested in talking.

What books have you read this past six months? If the answer is less than 7, don’t bother. Seriously. We read while we brush our teeth.

We need curiosity and a drive for new and old ideas filtered through the lens of logic and science. And if you’ve already learned the secret to life is listening and enthusiasm, we want to hear you and your story.

If you’ve always wanted to be a team player but just haven’t found the right team, we will soon have the best there is once the right person joins us.

And you must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. No two days in this job are identical, but the growth potential (personally and financially) within the team is extraordinary.

You’ll be responsible for researching and reporting the latest breakthroughs in science, health, and wellness to our 125,000-plus subscribers. You’ll be an integral part of our editorial strategy, ensuring that all publications have a strong and consistent tone that resonates with our readers.

The ideal candidate should live and breathe health and wellness. If you want to make a wonderful living teaching others the secrets of the world, we want to hear you and your story. If you are interested in money, wealth and finance, that’s a bonus.

You get a chance to work alongside our own David “Doc” Eifrig and his team while writing, researching, and editing his various publications.

Responsibilities

  • Come to work every day with a heart and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Ferociously research topics that are compelling to our subscribers.
  • Research and develop new editorial angles and strategy for health and finance publications, as well as e-newsletters, social media, and public discourse.
  • Edit, write, advise, strengthen arguments, streamline prose, and work with our team to produce compelling content.
  • Encourage collaboration and synergy between marketing, design and other editorial teams.
  • health and wellness content in the world… and then figure out how to make it better. Proofread, fact-check, and scrutinize every detail of everything we publish.
  • Enforce deadlines, schedule meetings, arrange calls, and keep everybody on task.
  • Update reports, repackage content, and make our biggest ideas shine for months or even years.
  • Absorb everything there is to know about publishing and selling the best health and wellness content in the world… and then figure out how to make it better.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in History, Journalism, Biology, English, Art History, or Economics is highly desired. (But Doc’s favorite boss ever only had a high school diploma.)
  • A driving desire for reading and writing short 500- to 750-word essays about health, wellness, science, and finance.
  • A proven track record of meeting deadlines and can juggle life’s competing priorities through communication.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and refuses to settle for mediocrity.
  • Our ideal candidate has a lifetime of writing experience (including crayons). But we’ll consider 1-3 years of writing and research experience, if we like your style.
  • Interest in financial investments is also highly desired.
