Thank you for including us in your philanthropy.

The Civic Science Media Lab (CS Media Lab) is a Boston-centered civic science news collective with national and global analysis/coverage on TV, digital print, and radio. The guiding goal: map the civic nature of science locally in our Greater Boston area, nationally in the US, and also around the world. What is the civic nature of science? It pertains to the interactions between the scientific enterprise and local communities in solving real-world problems and fostering informed decision-making.

Our almost real-time discourse with scholars, practitioners, and local community members is driven by our passion for learning. Such engagement allows us to tell stories that are underreported by the mainstream media. Most importantly, we are building an archive for future generations of civic scientists and supporting them directly where possible.

Help us maintain our independence and keep our work free to all viewers, listeners, and readers.

The Civic Science Media Lab is a non-profit (aka Stem Advocacy Institute; see financial reports), that is incorporated in the state of Massachusetts.
