‘Questions of the Day’ celebrates 100 episodes & launches a new nano-series: What is civic science?

Fanuel Muindi, host of the ‘Questions of the Day’ show on the CivicSciTV Network, takes a moment to mark 100 episodes and announces the launch of a special nano-series featuring diverse stakeholders answering how they define civic science through their work in less than 60 seconds. An answer from Prof. Marina Joubert is featured. Prof. Joubert is a senior researcher in science communication at the Centre for Research on Evaluation, Science and Technology (CREST) at Stellenbosch University in South Africa.

Civic Science Media Lab

CSML's mission is to document the diverse practices of civic science to inform, educate, and inspire current and the next generation of practitioners in the field, and the broader publics. Through the practice of ethnographic civic science journalism, the lab offers practitioners a sandbox for experimentation—using video, digital publishing, and audio—to surface and make sense of the knowledge, lived experiences, behaviors, motivations, and responsibilities that shape civic science.
