Supported by our endowment started by Fanuel Muindi and his wife, the goal of our philanthropy is to advance civic science journalism primarily through our internal initiatives, but also through external projects that align with our mission. By supporting scholars, journalists, and practitioners, we aim to power investigative reporting, storytelling, and research that explore the civic nature of science.
Ultimately, our vision is a vibrant ecosystem of practice around civic science journalism, recognizing it as critical to supporting scholars, practitioners, and policymakers who are working to bridge science and society through public engagement with science, science communication, citizen science, science policy, and other civic science fields.
